ICSD - popup window setting

The free ILL's ISCD front end may not work properly if the pop-up window setting of your browser is not set correctly.
Warning: the procedures below are indicative only since both browsers preferences and behaviors may change from one version to the other.

Mozilla Firefox 67 Option 1     Type <about:preferences#privacy> Option 2     Click the hamburger menu (top right) and select "Options"     Click "Privacy & Security" Go to "Permissions" and check "Block pop-up windows". Click the "Exceptions..." button Input the URL <http://icsd.ill.fr> and click the "Allow" button Click "Save Changes"

Microsoft Edge 40 If ICSD tries to display a popup window, prompt to allow or block a site from allowing those pop-ups appears at the bottom of the screen in a dialog box across the bottom of the Microsoft Edge window. You can choose to either allow the pop up just once or to always allow them from that site. If you do so, the URL will appear in the window "Settings" / "Avanced" / "Site settings" / "Website permissions" / "Manage permissions" This is simple unless the prompt disappears before you have a chance to respond. In that case try again!
